Anya, 26, Manager: The happiest person on Earth - she owns what she WOWes!

Anya has a separate bank account to save for her WOW brands. Last one to empty it was LOUIS VUITTON bag she happily bought.

It must be interesting to hear what else ticks Anya's heart and soul and hits hard on her  mind... as you have to be quite insane to spend that much for a sack.

A: "APPLE is WOW!", says Anya holding her new iPhone.
A: It's very user friendly and beautiful indeed. Apple is like a drug, it sucks you in and you can't stop. You buy one product, then the next...
A: It's very cool and beautiful. I feel I am at the edge of the trend.

Apple is WOW indeed. I spent 2 hours staring at iPad in NY store, trying to justify purchase. Luckily my mind took back control over emotions...

That's not me on the picture, just in case you wonder.

A: GUCCI is another one. Brand with a history.
A: Stylish, comfortable and not that posh as Louis Vuitton.
A: I like the trade mark as well. It's unique and recognizable.

I wonder why posh is good for a bag, but not for clothes?..

A: My gosh! How could I have forgotten! BMW!!!
A: It's speed, it's comfort, it's style, it's enjoyment from driving, unbelievable enjoyment!

Now we're talking! The ultimate driving machine! That's sacred for me, so no comments...

PS: In case you still wondering why Anya spent a fortune for that bag:

  1. hmmm... I once bought a fake Prada bag... I knew it was fake, though it looked VERY real, and no one ever understood it wasn't. But I just knew it, and it nagged me forever when people commented on how beatiful it is :))
I have a friend who has a real Birkin bag, and two fake ones! She spent 15 thousand $ on the real one, and then went and got 2 fake ones for 150$ each. She says she has to keep her image for their social circle, and that people would not understand other brands... It is interesting - you do not select the brands because of who you are or what values you have, but because of other people's opinion on you... Also, the trend-setters are very highly regarded in the WOW-brands world... you want to keep up with them)))

  2. I think it should be perceived differently when one buys fake "show-off" item, vs. just fake item. I would hate to wear fake Rolex, but still have a cool pair of jeans, which I like regardless of the brand name on 'em and they just happen to be fake :(

On social circle though... My belief was that people who do have a lot of money can "afford" to wear shitty brands as they have enough status already, so no need to reinforce it with top notch brands. Isn't this what American millioneers do? Take Google/Facebook guys, for example...
